"Lord" you ask?   Well,  when I am  spoken of by  friends and foes in the original  movie series,  they almost always refer to me as Lord Vader or just  Vader.   I was called "Lord Vader"  a total of  22 times,  "Vader"  20 times,  "My Lord" 14 times,  and "Darth Vader" a measly 6 times (one of them in the initial rolling text storyline of ESB), and always by my foes..

So you see, Lord Vader is a much more appropriate title for Me.  I was also referred to as "Darth", "Father",  "Friend",  "Skywalker" and "Anakin" a few  times throughout the series. 

At this point in my Life, "Anakin" has no meaning for me, so you will find little heed paid to that  story Lucas discovered about my early years before becoming Lord Vader.....
